Shrinking the funnel

Here I am, a non-conformist person that is eager to challenge the status quo to bring new perspectives and co-create better futures.

“You should be more concrete, more precise, focus more, and narrow it down as much as possible” are the most common words I get as feedback from some of the people who received my proposals after their briefed me on a potential project or as feedback when somebody asked me about what I do.

I heard similar words when I enrolled in a program early in 2022 to work more on my sales/marketing strategy to boost the number of potential projects I could work on.

They told me that I should widen my sales funnel to make the scope ampler, and like this, I will reach more people and potential clients for my solutions.

I tried.

But

It didn’t feel authentic, I felt I was losing my essence.

That’s why I decided that more important to have a wider funnel, is to be seen as I am, different, radical, and disruptive, and eventually attract the right people to run interesting projects together.

I moved away from the FOMO (Fear of Missing Out) and embrace radically the JOMO (Joy of Missing Out). That means I’m ready to engage with people who want to do things differently, experiment, explore, and be less conventional in their approach.

No, I’m not going to adapt my proposals to the standard language or make them narrower so you don’t feel uncomfortable with the vagueness of the proposed journey.

I’m here to kindly bring a disruptive attitude that enables the possibility to tackle uncomfortable conversations.

I’m going to ask many questions, gently challenge and give you different perspectives to boost deep reflections.

I’m going to tell you things that others in your organization don’t dare to tell you.

Here I am, a non-conformist person that is eager to challenge the status quo to bring new perspectives and co-create better futures.

Let’s talk!
